My Cruise on the Emerald Princess

My next cruise is finally here....On November 10th,2008, I'll start a 10-day cruise on the Emerald Princess to the Southern Caribbean.
For the first time ever, I will be adding my "almost" daily comments on this page, directly from the ship's internet cafe! I'll be reporting on what's going on aboard and what we'll be doing while ashore.
Gotta go and start packing now!
Our hotel in Fort Lauderdale: It was our second time staying at the "Comfort Suites Airport/Cruise Port Hotel" and it is very conveniently located about 15 minutes away using their free shuttle from the airport and then from the hotel to the port. They also offer free continental breakfast which is good enough and they also have a pool. And the price was right! There are restaurants walking distance as well, like Dennis or Taco Bell.
